Belen De Leon Biography

Belen De Leon is an American meteorologist who is currently working at KNBC.

She serves on the weekdays from 4 am to 7 am anchor at the station. Furthermore, she is part of the award-winning weather team that has earned the Most Accurate Weather Team in Southern California by WeatheRate for five consecutive years.

She has been broadcasting weather and local news for more than a decade.

Furthermore, she started as a host of a number of entertainment television shows and later transitioned to radio and news at KNVO-TV in South Texas.  From 2 007-2011, she resided in Texas where she reported weather in both English and Spanish, including coverage of Hurricane Dolly in 2008.

She joined Denver’s NBC station, KUSA-TV in 2012, as a weekday meteorologist, and on weekends she forecasted wildfires, severe weather, and snowstorms prior to becoming one of the most familiar faces
