    Fakhar Zaman[b] (pronounced[fəxərzəmaːɳ]; born 10 April 1990) is a Pakistani international cricketer who plays for the Pakistan national cricket team.[2] He scored his first ODI century against India in 2017 Champions Trophy Final.

    He also plays for Lahore Qalandars as an opening batter in the Pakistan Super League.[3] Zaman rose to fame after a success with his century in the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy, where in the final, he was the man of the match with his innings of 114 runs off 106 balls against India.

    On 20 July 2018, he became the first batsman for Pakistan to score a double century in a One Day International (ODI) match.[4] After two days, he became the fastest batsman to score 1,000 runs in ODIs.[5] In August 2018, he was one of thirty-three players to be awarded a central contract for the 2018–19 season by the Pakistan Cricket Board.[6]
